With kind thanks to the generous support of The University of Edinburgh Student Experience Grant, The Robertson Trust, Tynecastle High School, The Crags Community Sports Centre, Boroughmuir Blaze Basketball Club, Basketball Scotland, The University of Edinburgh Sport Policy Programme, and the University of Edinburgh School of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Applied Social Sciences: this programme would not be possible without you!
This programme matches University of Edinburgh athletes with young people identified through Basketball Scotland's School of Basketball initiative.
The 7 chosen young people (aged 11 to 16) will meet fortnightly with their mentor for six months, and experience a range of opportunities together, including mindfulness and compassionate communication workshops, basketball, and even capoeira!
